As public gatherings of people are being limited while the coronavirus response is evolving, professional community managers and association volunteer leaders are understandably concerned about taking necessary corporate action, holding necessary meetings, and maintaining transparent operations. This class will discuss community association options on conducting business at the board and membership level electronically, via videoconference, or telephone conference. We will discuss the various statutes and common governing document provisions that allow for the taking of action, whether with or without a meeting, and how those methods can be used to minimize human contact while maximizing human interaction and collaborative decision-making.
