In this class, we will discuss the practical and technical considerations necessary for hosting virtual meetings. We will have a very brief overview of technological requirements such as cameras, microphones and speakers, and the like. We will discuss the Zoom and GotoMeeting platforms. We will discuss basic issues such as hosting a meeting, muting and un-muting of people, promoting people to panelists, as well as a general discussion of the chat and question and answer features.
