In this class, we will discuss the “video doorbell” revolution and the unanticipated consequences that come with constant audio and video recording. We will discuss invasion of privacy issues, laws regarding consent to audio recordings, and the law of eavesdropping. We will also discuss common issues that arise when owners are accused of surveilling their neighbors.
